A Bit About Me
I am a force multiplier who uses my experience across multiple workflows and technologies and my passion for supporting others to help encourage professional skill development through meaningful work and foster a continuous culture of learning. As a creative and enthusiastic technologist, I can work with Artists, Technicians, Developers, and Engineers and speak in their language. I use my dual creative and technical experience to be a supportive bridge and translator between creatives, techs, and stakeholders. With experience as an academic and researcher I keep up to date with the latest trends in WIL, self-directed learning, and communities of practice which foster a collegiate sharing of knowledge, critical thinking, and problem solving amongst cohorts.
This is in addition to my broad but deep understanding and experience in a range of technical roles covering Virtual Production, VR, Editing, VFX, Electronics, and of course Filmmaking.

PhD Candidate & Academic Sessional Lecturer - Edith Cowan University
In addition to conducting research into university-industry collaborations in technical skill development in the media and entertainment industries as part of my PhD, I have also been employed as a lecturer where I have had to develop learning materials, manage students, oversee student projects, grade papers, and teach classes on media studies, documentary filmmaking, media technologies, virtual production, and production preparation.
Presenter / Chair, XR:WA Industry Conference
I have been invited to exhibit, talk, and chair panels at the XR:WA conference for the last three years. It has been a delightful experience.
Post Production Support Engineer - Fremantle Media Australia
While working as a Post Production Support Engineer I used my expertise across multiple systems and technologies and my passion for supporting others to augment the creative team’s effectiveness at shipping high quality content. I identify improvements to workflows and provided desk-side support to creatives, technical staff, and executives (often on tight deadlines). I used my experience both to advocate for the needs of creatives to the engineering and technical departments to achieve long-term solutions and when necessary, found workable short-term solutions to get things humming again. I also documented new knowledge and learned deeply about the various systems at play in the organisation and the wider industry to make recommendations and provide cutting edge and often bespoke technical solutions (both hardware and software).
