In my attempt to maintain control over every aspect of virtual production I have been working to design my base template for virtual production in UE4. I have managed to work out the following unique features;
A custom built Virtual Camera
A custom built touchscreen interface for camera control
A custom built Follow Focus for Virtual Cameras
Integration for live chroma footage
Output pipelines for multi-layer VFX and plates with both live, proxy, and high res finals
Level Design Tools
Folder structure and data management tools
Multi-user collaboration tools
Scouting tools
Directors VR "viewfinder"
Its a lot of fun and I just need a production to use it on.
